Meeting the standards
Quantum's full line of custom wood windows are now APPROVED to meet the IBC 2006 Hurricane Zone 2 criteria.
Quantum is working hard to meet the stringent requirements with their line of beautiful, high quality custom wood sliding doors and expects to receive approval in early 2008.
How it works
Simply using laminated glass is not sufficient. To pass the most rigorous impact testing, all components must work together to form an integrated unit. Glass, frames, sashes, and hardware are all equal components in the design to manufacture a Hurricane window or door that will pass the 9000 cycle impact test.
